Xcelencia’s MySpace

Xcelencia, a local Orlando up-and-coming artist and producer, came to us wanting an attractive new design for his MySpace page to attract more new listeners. He’s very well known for his use of electronic and outer space-like sounds, and he wanted that to be seen in the design. We played with spacing, typography, and colors to create an excellent look and feel for Xcelencia’s MySpace that mirrored his music and style.

Official Choice B-Cards

Along with the logo design that we made for Official Choice, they also asked us for a business card design. One side of the business card has a “dirty” look to it and the information is barely readable, while on the other side it is clean and you notice that there is a hand on the corner to hint that at it being cleaned. This made sense since Official Choice is, in essense, a cleaning company. We went with 12pt Silk business cards, and on the clean side there is Spot UV on the logo and the hand in the corner to give it that extra shine.

Official Choice Cleaning Service is a brand new Orlando-based commercial cleaning company. They approached us wanting a logo that would represent them in a way that would make them stand out above the competition. We here at 88 Media took on the challenge and decided to go with a sort of “official” seal/shield look with 2 cleaning supplies crossed across the middle. The folks over at OCCS enjoyed the way the logo made them look like royalty, and we enjoyed not having to go through another round of logo designs. Everyone’s happy in the end.

Kurt Johnson’s Portfolio

Kurt Johnson, 88 Media’s very own Head Creative Director, created his personal portfolio to showcase all of the websites in which he has touched and left his mark on. He wanted something different, grungy, light, and that it would all fit in one page. At the same time, he was experimenting with wordpress and trying to push the limits of it. Built To Be Broken Myspace

Built to be Broken is a great upcoming band from Orlando, FL. Built to be Broken just put out their debut album Reason to the Rhyme, to follow up their success 88 Media designed a MySpace Layout to match the album cover. We also added a flash animated banner at the top of the layout to give their myspace a more up to date feel and stand out beyond others in their genre. 88 Media Business Cards

After a long process of brainstorming ideas 88 Media’s lead creative designer provided us with this stylish design for our business cards. 88 Media business cards were printed on thick 14 pt stock paper, with UV gloss and die cut rounded corners to give the cards an unique look.

SRC Auerbach Business Cards

SRC Auerbach wanted a unique look on their business cards to catch their clients eyes. 88 Media designed and printed SRC Auerbach a stylish design on 30-mil pvc plastic cards. The cards have the SRC Auerbach logo on the front and on the flipside is the contact information for the CEO of the company.

We have officially launched our first client’s website. SRC Auerbach came up to us looking to move their company to an online medium, and to provide an easier way to receive employment applications. We also provided them a new logo that was simple and easy to recognize. So go check out our latest work.

So, finally we have launched the new version of our site. I know it may look pretty much the same, but trust me the entire bones of it is completely different.
